The Impala swissQprint machine is a hybrid inkjet system, designed as much for the graphic industry as it is for industrial purposes, allows Eezee Event Solutions to print on any substrate, including ABS, glass, PVC, vinyl, clearistate, paper, carpet, magnetic, corex, chromadek, aluminium… pretty much everything, really.
The UV-cured ink adheres lastingly to surfaces and will not crack during the cutting process. Its strengths include impressive edge sharpness on tiny lettering, lines and geometrical shapes. With the extra capacity this machine offers us, we are also open to do sub-contract printing on an ongoing basis.
The advantages of digital printing include full colour prints; you are able to have larger images. Because of the UVjet flatbed your print will be clear and vibrant in colour. A UV-curing inkjet printing system brings additional advantages compared to other digital inkjet systems. One of the most significant is the instant drying, which occurs in the ink-curing step. This can occur in 0.2 seconds, is independent of the printing speed, and can yield a faster turnaround. UV inks are also applicable than water or solvent inks, increasing the range of media that can be used without pretreatment. It is generally accepted that cured prints can be placed outdoors for 2 to 3 years. Because the inks stay on the media surface and generally do not absorb into the media, print and color quality is more.

Versatile and robust, Impala is a flatbed printing system that is expandable as required. For example, the standard CMYK may be supplemented by as many as five additional channels – including industrial protective lacquers, or primer for printing onto media that have traditionally resisted inkjet methods. In any case, the UV-hardening ink set adheres to highly diverse materials and does not crack even during trimming, which broadens the production portfolio to include numerous attractive applications. A steplessly adjustable vacuum system retains standard panels just as securely as heat-sensitive substrates and fabrics. The printing table, anodised for easy maintenance, can carry media as heavy as 400kg. In contrast to this weighty muscle, printing is absolute high precision. The intelligent controller positions every droplet with micrometre exactitude. Uniform colour expanses are a particular speciality of Impala.
